Kit 001

Build a Self-Watering Plant Monitor

Measure soil moisture and automatically water your plant with this beginner-friendly, no-soldering-required hardware kit.

Let's get started

You’re about to build a real-world automation system. No simulation, no fluff.

This project will guide you step by step, even if you’ve never touched an Arduino before. You’ll connect components, upload code, and see your plant water itself based on real sensor data. That’s magic you built.

All you need is:

  • Your Kit 001 box

  • A computer with a USB port

  • The Arduino IDE (we’ll help you install it)

  • About 30–45 minutes of focused time

  • A little curiosity

What Isn't Supplied

To get up and running, you'll need just a couple of extra items:

  • 4 AAA Batteries – to power your device

  • USB-C cable

  • Phillips Head Screwdriver – we pre-assemble everything, but you might want to tighten a screw or two

That's it! We’ve taken care of the rest so you can jump right into building.

We’ll walk through:

  1. Setting up your kit

  2. Wiring each component

  3. Uploading the code

  4. Testing and tweaking

No soldering. No guessing. Just building.
